
The U.S Department of State seeks to engage and energize students about international relations and their role in our nation’s foreign policy, Each year, top students attending a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) with an interest in international affairs are invited to attend a one-day conference in Washington, DC hosted by the Bureau of Global Public Affairs.
The annual HBCU Foreign Policy Conference introduces HBCU students and their influencers to diplomats and department officials who share the efforts of the United States to advance a free, peaceful, and prosperous world. Students also participate in career breakout sessions and network with Department HBCU alums.
